SS-Panzer-Regiment 1

Rgts.Stab and II.Abt. (three med Kp.) were formed on 14 Oct 42 for SS-Div. LSSAH. I.Abt. was formed from renamed SS-Pz.Abt.1 in Oct 42. 13 (s).Kp/SS-Pz.Rgt.1 was formed on 15 Nov 42. In Apr 43 13 (s).Kp. was renamed 3.Kp./s.Pz.Abt.Gen.Kdo.SS-Pz.Korps and on 1 Jun 43 it was renamed 1./Kp. s.Pz.Abt.Gen.Kdo.I.SS-Pz.Korps, but it remained with the regiment as 13 (s).Kp. until Oct 43. On 1 May 43 I.Abt. was sent back to Germany to convert to Panthers and II.Abt. was reorganized with four med Kp.I.Abt. rejoined the regiment in Nov 43.On 4 Dec 43 the regiment formed a Pz.Abt with one Kp. ea of Panthers, Pz.IV and Pz.VI. This Abt. remained in the East as part of 1.SS-Pz.Div.(Kampgruppe) while the rest of the division transferred to the West for rest and refit. On 11 Apr 44 the Kampfgruppe was ordered to rejoin the Division in the West. The regiment was decimated in the Falaise pocket in Aug 44. It was reformed as a single Abt. with two Pz.V and two Pz.IV Kp. in Sep 44.

SS-Panzer-Regiment 2

Rgts.Stab and II.Abt. (two light and one med Kp.) were formed on 14 Oct 42 for SS-Div. Das Reich. I.Abt. was formed from the renamed SS-Pz.Abt.2 in Oct 42. s.Pz.Kp./SS-Pz.Rgt.2 was formed on 15 Nov 42. In Apr 43. s.Pz.Kp was renamed 2.Kp./s.Pz.Abt.Gen.Kdo.SS-Pz.Korps, but remained with the regiment as s.Pz.Kp. until Apr 44. I.Abt. was sent back to Germany to convert to Panthers on 1 May 43, and III.Abt. was formed with two T-34 and a light Kp. I.Abt. rejoined the regiment in Aug 43. On 22 Oct 43 III.Abt. was ordered disbanded. Due to combat losses the regiment was reduced to one Abt. with one Kp. each of Pz.V, Pz.IV, and Pz.VI by orders dated 4 Dec 43. This Abt. remained in the East as part of 2.SS-Pz.Div.(Kampgruppe) while the rest of the division transferred to the West for rest and refit. On 11 Apr 44 the Kampfgruppe was ordered to rejoin the Division in the West. On 11 Apr 44 the regiment was ordered to reorganize with two Abt. each with four Kp. The regiment was decimated in the Falaise pocket in Aug 44. I.Abt was rebuilt with four Panther Kp. and II.Abt. was rebuilt with two Pz.IV and two StuG Kp. in Nov 44.

SS-Panzer-Regiment 3

Stab and II.Abt (with two light and on med Kp.) formed on 14 Oct 42 for SS-Totenkopf Div. I.Abt. formed from renamed SS-Pz.Abt.3 in Oct 42. 9(s).Pz.Kp./SS-Pz.Rgt.3 formed on 15 Nov 42. In Apr 43 9(s).Kp. was renamed 1.Kp./s.Pz.Abt.Gen.Kdo.SS-Pz.Korps, but remained with the regiment as 9(s).Kp. unitl summer 44. Ordered on 1 May 43 to reorganize with two Abt. (each with two med and one light Kp.). I.Abt. Converted to Panthers and. rejoined the regiment in Jul 44.

SS-Panzer-Regiment 5

Stab and II.Abt (with four Kp.) formed on 23 Feb 43 for SS-Div. Wiking. I.Abt. was formed from renamed SS-Pz.Abt.5 on 28 Feb 43. II.Abt. began converting to Panthers in Dec 43. II.Abt. rejoined the regiment in Apr 44.

SS-Panzer-Regiment 9

Formed for SS-Pz.Gren.Div.9 on 1 Feb 43. On 22 Oct 43 ordered to reorganize with a Panther Abt (four Kp.) and a Pz.IV Abt. (with four Kp.). II.Abt. reorganized as gem.Pz.Abt. in Nov 43 (with two Pz.IV and two StuG Kp.). Stab and II.Abt moved to the Eastern Front with the Division in Apr 44. I.Abt. Remained in the West. I.Abt. Rejoined the division in Jun 44 when 9.SS.-Pz.Div was transferred to Normandy. Regiment was rebuilt in Nov 44 with I. Abt. (Four Pz.V Kp.) and II.Abt. (with 2 Pz.IV and two StuG Kp.)

SS-Panzer-Regiment 10 "Langemarck"

Formed on 1 Feb 43 for SS-Pz.Gren.Div.10. On 22 Oct 43 ordered to reorganize with a Panther Abt. (four Kp.) and a Pz.IV. Abt. (four Kp.). II.Abt. was reorganized as gem-Pz.Abt. with two Pz.IV and two StuG Kp. on Nov 43. Stab and II.Abt. Moved to the Eastern Front with the Division in Apr 44. I.Abt. remained in the West. 1.Kp. was sent to the Western front in Oct 44. In Dec 44 the regiment was reduced to I.Abt. (with two Pz.V and two Pz.IV Kp.). On 3 Jan 45 the regiment was ordered to expand to two Abt. (a Panther Abt.with four Kp. and a Pz.IV Abt. with three Kp.)

SS-Panzer-Regiment 11

Formed on 1 Jul 43 for SS-Div. Nordland with two Abt. II.Abt. was employed as infantry in Yugoslavia from the end of Aug 43 to Nov 43. I.Abt. renamed SS-Pz.Abt.11 on 1 Nov 43. II.Abt. renamed s.SS-Pz.Abt.103 on 1 Nov 43.

SS-Panzer-Regiment 12

Formed on 3 Nov 43 with a Pz.V and a Pz.IV Abt. (each with four Kp.) for SS-Pz.Gren.Div. HJ. The regiment was decimated in the Falaise pocket in Aug 44. It was reformed with only the I.Abt. (with two Pz.V and two Pz.IV Kp.) in Nov 44.
