Schiffs-Stamm-Abteilung]). In July 1943 gave up 4 batteries (1, 5-7) to MAA517, and now only had 4 batteries. MAA513 was disbanded 10.31.44 after the evacuation from Vardö.

    Formed 5.41 in Swinemünde with 4 companies, for use in the Baltic states. 1941 to Reval. In 1942 increased to 6 companies (after receiving Bttr. Nettelbeck), and in 1943 to 9 batteries. In 1944 transferred to Windau, now with 7 batteries (1-3, 5-7 and 9).

    Subordinated to Seekdt. Reval (later Estland), and from 1944 Seekdt. Livland (Marine-Artillerie-Regiment 10).


    Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 531

    Formed 12.41 in Luga from the Marine-Erfassungs-Abteilung. 1942 in Oranienbaum and Peterhof. 1943 had 5 batteries, of which three (1, 2 and 5) briefly served in Finland during Operation Hochland. In November 1944 saw combat at Sworbe (Oesel). The renmants were withdrawn to Gotenhafen 12.05.44 amd were rebuilt as a leichte MAA with 5 batteries.

    Subordinated to Seekdt. R/Estland and from 1944 Seekdt. Westpreussen.


    Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 532

    Formed 4.42 in Libau with 8 batteries and Bttr. Libau-Nord and Süd. Stationed at Reval and Luga in 1942, Aseri and Vidale in 1943. 1944 in Reval, and later on Oesel (Ahrendsburg and Sworbe). 11.44 to Libau, and ended the war with 13 batteries at the Irben estuary.

    Formed summer 1941 in Aurich for Operation Felix (attack on Gibraltar), with one battery. Sometime in the winter 41/42, this battery was transferred to the Marine-Sonderkommando (later became 1./MAA513). In 2.42 moved to the Crimea, now with four new batteries (later six). HQ in Sevastopol (with 1./MAA601 in Yalta with three 76mm guns). Disbanded 5.44 after the loss of Sevastopol.

    Formed in winter 41/42 from Artillerie-Gruppe Fritz der Marine-Sonderkommando, with 2 batteries (for Operation Felix). In 1942 moved to Feodosia on the Crimea, with only the 1st battery. (2./MAA602 was used to form MAA610). Disbanded 1943.

    Formed 5.43 in Kertch (Crimea) from parts of MAA601 (only the Stab is mentioned in the Feldpostübersicht). Defended Sevastopol 5.44 (108 men are still missing). The remnants were withdrawn to Romania, and absorbed the remnants of MAA601 and MAA614. Disbanded 8.44.

    Formed 5.43 at the Asov Sea from Batterie Mariupol with 4 batteries (1./MAA614 at Berdjansk-West). In 10.43 attached to the 50th Infantry-Division, and saw action at the frontline. 5.44 defended Sevastopol (heavy losses). Disbanded and the remnants were absorbed by MAA613.
