Originally formed 8.05.43 in the Poitiers area (Führerbefehl
6.01.43). The Panzer-Abteilung and the Werfer-Abteilung were not to be
formed until 4.01.44. Formation was cancelled and it was used to form the
VI.SS-Freiwilligen-Armee-Korps instead. Only
mentioned once in the Schematische Krigesgliederung for 11.43 under
OB West.
Reformed 6.30.44 from the new VII.SS-Panzer-Korps and its Korpstruppen.
Intended for OB West, but moved to Warsaw in 8.44. Spent the rest of
the War on the Eastern Front.
