Each regiment (1571 men) consisted of 3 battalions (I, II, III) with
each 3 batteries (1-3, 4-6, 7-9). I. and II. each had 12 105mm guns/howitzers,
while III. had 12 150mm howitzers. [TOTAL: 24 105mm and 12 150mm, 1571

Kommandeur: Formed in Summer 1938 as Geschütz-Batterie 7. Summer 1940 enlarged and became the Fallschirm-Artillerie-Abteilung. In Winter 41/42 again enlarged and became the Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 1 with 2 battalions. III./FAR.1 was formed a year later. In 2.43 II./FAR.1 was redesignated I./FAR.2. In June 1944 the regiment was reorganised, with III./FAR.1 becoming II./FAR.1 and a new III./FAR.1 was formed from scratch.
Organisation: Saw action in Russia together with the regiments of the 7. Flieger-Division.
Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 2
Kommandeur:
Formed in February 1943 with only I./FAR.2, which was formed from II./FAR.1. The Stab, II. and III./FAR.2 were not formed until May 1944, when the 2. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division was resting in Germany. I./FAR.2 was destroyed in Brest 19.9.44. The remainder of the regiment escaped, and joined the the newly formed 2. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division in December 1944. The Regiment was reorganised on 8.2.45: new Stab from Stab/FAR.12, new I./FAR.2. from III./FAR.6 and a new III./FAR.2 from II./FAR.12. Organisation:

Kommandeur:
Formed 1.44 at Reims with only I./FAR.3. The remainder of the regiment was not formed until June 1944, when the Stab, II. and III./FAR.3 was formed. Apparently the regiment escaped most of the destruction in Normandy and beyond. In 8.2.45 the regiment was totally re-organised: Stab and III./FAR.3 becoming Stab and III./FAR.12 and II./FAR.3 becoming II./FAR.7. The old I./FAR.3 became the new II./FAR.3. New Stab, I. and III./FAR.3 formed from Stab, II. and III./FAR.4. Organisation:

Kommandeur:
Formed in 1.44 with only I./FAR.4. In June 1944 the I./FAR.4 and I./FAR.6 exchanged designations. Stab, II. and III./FAR.4 was formed from scratch. The new regiment never joined 4. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division, but remained in Germany and later served as Heerestruppe in France. On 8.2.45 the regiment was disbanded: Stab, II. and III./FAR.4 became Stab, I. and III./FAR.3, while I./FAR.4 was redesignated Fallschirm-Artillerie-Abteilung z.b.V. Hermann Göring (serving with the Ersatz-Brigade Hermann Göring). On 13.3.45 a new regiment began forming in Luftgau IV (only Stab, II. and III./FAR.4). This regiment was not intended for the 4. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division, but served on the Eastern front. Organisation: This regiment only served with the 4. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division during January to June 1944.
Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 5
Kommandeur:
Formed 3.44 in Reims, with only I./FAR.5. In June 1944 the Stab, II. and III./FAR.5 was formed. Apparently only III./FAR.5 was destroyed in Normandy. In 11.44 the Stab and I./FAR.5 became Stab and I./FAR.7, and a whole new regiment was formed in Holland. Organisation:

Formed 6.44 in Amiens. The Regiment was never fully formed. I./FAR.6 and I./FAR.4 exchanged designations in 7.44. In October 1944, the I./FAR.6 became I./FAR.7, and III./FAR.6 became I./FAR.2. The rest of the regiment had apparently never been formed. The regiment began reforming 10.44 in Holland, with I./FAR.6 formed 8.2.45 from Fallschirm-Feldersatz-Bataillon 6. Organisation:

Formed 5.4.45 from the Fallschirm-Artillerie-Ausblidungs- und Ersatz-Abteilung in Iserlohn. The 3. and 4. batteries were transferred to 21. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division. Organisation:

Kommandeur: Formed 5.4.45 from one light and one heavy battery from the 20. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division.
Korps-Artillerie-Regiment 1 der Luftwaffe
Kommandeur: Formed in January 1944. In May 1944 the I./KAR.1 was transferred to Korps-Artillerie-Regiment 2 der Luftwaffe. New I./KAR.1 was formed from Korps-Artillerie-Abteilung des Fliegerkorps XI. In June 1944 the unit was renamed Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 11. The Stab was disbanded 18.1.45, and became Fallschirm-Artillerie-Kommandeur 12, and a new Stab was formed. On 8.2.45 the II./FAR.11 became II./FAR.12 and III./FAR.11 became III./FAR.6, and both battalions were reformed.

Korps-Artillerie-Regiment 2 der Luftwaffe
Kommandeur: Formed in January 1944. In April 1944 I./KAR.2 was renamed Korps-Artillerie-Abteilung des Fliegerkorps XI. A new I./KAR.2 formed in May 1944 from the I./Korps-Artillerie-Regiment 1 der Luftwaffe. Renamed Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 12 in 6.44, and 121 on 28.3.45.
