The Nord division is still only mentioned as Div. Gruppe Kräutler in the Schematische Kriegsgliederung for 12.4.45 (last entry).

The Ost division* is mentioned in the Schematische Kriegsgliederung as Kampfgruppe Oberst Raithel (for 4.45) under III. Corps/6. Armee.

An order for 25.4.45 mentions that a 9. Geb. Div. was to be formed from Geb.Jäger-Div. Steiermark (Schatten-Div.).

* formed from Geb.Jäger-Unterführerschule, Geb.Art. Schule Dachstein, SS-Geb.Jäger-Ers.Btl. Loeben and men from Kampfgeschwader 27.

Gebirgsjäger-Division Steiermark

On 25.4.45 two RAD-Brigaden were formed:

RAD-Brigade Steiermark in Murstal
RAD-Brigade Enns in Ennstal

Both consisted of 2 Jäger-Regiments (each 2 battalions), an Artillerie-Abt. and a Pionier-Btl.

Both brigades were = Div. Steiermark.

The division were ordered on the same day, to become part of the new 9. Geb. Div.

Fate: Nord surrendered to the British, Ost mainly to the Soviets.
