    The division is not mentioned in the Feldpostübersicht or in the Schematische Kriegsgliederung (last entry there is 12.4.45). Two Tarn-Divisions (cover divisions) were mentioned 12.4.45:

    The two false divisions (to fool the allies) seem to use the same units that the 16. Marine-Infanterie-Division were supposedly formed from. Therefore, its an open question whether this naval division is also a false division, together with the 11. Marine-Infanterie-Division.
