Marine-Regiment Badermann

Formed 8.44 in Bordeaux with 4 battalions. Personnel came from the KM-Werft Bordeaux, the KM-Arsenal Bordeaux and the 12.Uboat-Flotilla. The 4th battalion consisted of Italians. Disbanded 9.44, subordinated to Marine-Brigade "Weber".

Marine-Regiment von Berger

Formed 4.18.40 in Narvik from crews of some of the sunken destroyers. Its job was to protect the railway to Narvik (mainly used for iron ore from Sweden). Consisted of:

  • Bataillon Holtorf (3 companies)
  • Bataillon Thiele (3 companies)
  • Bataillon Zenker (2 companies)
  • Bataillon Arnim (2 companies)

    Formed 8.44 in Dax from the Marine Flak-Schule II, with 3 battalions. Formed for the retreat through France, and was disbanded 9.44.

    Formed 8.44 in La Rochelle with 2 battalions, with personnel from 4. Sicherungs-Division and 8. Minensuch-Flotilla. Subordinated to Festung La Rochelle, and remained there.

    Formed 8.44 in Bordeaux with 5 battalions. Personnel came from Hafenkommandt Bordeaux. Disbanded 9.44, subordinated to Marine-Brigade "Weber".

    Formed 4.45 in Emden from Marine-Festungs-Bataillon 366, Marine-Infanterie-Lehr-Bataillon 1, an Alarm-Bataillon and the 8. battery/Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 126.

    Marine-Regiment Zapp

    Formed 9.44 in La Rochelle with the III. and IV. bataillon from the personnel of the 3. U-boat Flotilla. Subordinated to Festung La Rochelle, and remained there.
