Formed 1942 in Stendal as Fallschirm-Jäger-Ergänzungs-Regiment1, from Fallschirm-Jäger-Ergänzungs-Bataillone1 – 4. Later in 1942 renamed Fallschirm-Jäger-Ausbildungs-Regiment1. Reorganised in 1943 and moved to Bar le Duc in France, now known asthe Fallschirm-Jäger-Ausbildungs-Regiment (no number). In 3.44 renamed:Fallschirm-Jäger-Ersatz- und Ausbildungs-Regiment 1. Withdrawn fromFrance after the Allied invasion, and demobilized. Reformed 1.45 in Halberstadt,with I. Battalion at Quedlinburg, subordinated to the Fallschirm-Jäger-Ausbildungs-und Ersatz-Division. On 14.4.45 had 4500 men in the Oder/Berlin area,for the defence of Berlin.

Formed 2.44 at Troyes, France. Formation ordered 5.11.43, to be completed1.2.44 with 3 battalions (2400 men). In April 1944 the Artillerie-Ausbildungs-Batteriewas redesignated the Fallschirm-Artillerie-Ersatz-Abteilung. Withdrawnfrom France after the Allied invasion, and was disbanded, IV. Battalionbecoming Fallschirm-Jäger-Bataillon Schäfer. Reformed 1.1.45at Wittstock (III. at Brandenburg), subordinated to the Fallschirm-Jäger-Ausbildungs-und Ersatz-Division. Disbanded 5.4.45 and was used to create the 20.Fallschirm-Jäger-Division (FJR.58)

Formed 4.44 at Verdun and Toul, France. In August 1944 the IV.Battalionwas renamed Genesenden-Bataillon der Fallschirm-Armee.Withdrawn from France after the Allied invasion, and was disbanded. Reformed1.45 in Celle (I. at Helmstedt, II. at Haselünne). Subordinated tothe Fallschirm-Jäger-Ausbildungs- und Ersatz-Division.Disbanded 5.4.45, and was used to create the 20. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division (FJR.59) with 4151 men.
